dc.description.abstractThe main aim of this study to present a model equation of the diabatic distillation column and Compare the rate of entropy production, efficiency between Adiabatic and Diabatic distillation columns by using the results of an experiment done which is taken from the literature. Development of the model equation for diabatic distillation column has done by using Onsager's theory which given for the irreversible thermodynamics. Efficiency and rate of entropy production are tabulated. Working of diabatic distillation and application are discussed. Present a MATLAB programme for finding the rate of entropy production for the diabatic distillation column at last.en_US
