Abstract: | Hospital projects have various types of budgets and sources of finance. Costing data at all stages of the project is required for the successful planning and implementation of the project. If the funds required are more than the available funds, then the cost of money may make the project unviable. If the funds required are calculated on the lower side, then the project may stop half way in between, due to cost overruns and or non-availability of funds. Therefore, the costing at the inception i.e. pre-feasibility and concept stage of the project is very important for the client to arrange for the funds, and to take the critical decisions on whether to go ahead with the project or to abandon it.... |
