This dissertation deals with TIME OPTIMAL DIGITAL CONTROL. The problem of tracking a signal is considered in detail and upper limit constraint on control due to physical limitations are taken into account. Variable sampling period approach which was cansidered by Volt and KadJ 6 has been discussed, It has been shown that by putting a lower conetr`aint on control, the perfor-mance of the system has been considerably improved. The modified flow-chart of the computer use has been shown.en_US
