Abstract: In the present age of medical science has advanced in all fields including cardiology. Engineers , Scientists and Doctors with their combined efforts, tried to set up a relation between the cardiac activities and cardiac potentials which are measured on the body surface in a certain order with an instrument. In other words we can say that the excitation and the associated contract-ion of the heart muscle is associated by Bio-electric phe-nomenon Action-potential. These potentials are conducted on the human body surface and may be detected and recorded on a special film by means of special instruments called as Electro-Cardio-Graph and the record is termed as Electro-Cardio-Gram (in short E.C.G. or E..K.G). With the help of ECG one can have 'a knowledge of temporal variations of the electrical potentials and dbviation from an accepted normal range can provide much diagnostic information. This necossiates to determine potentials on surface either analytically or experimentally. The study of Cardiac potentials can be done by two methods (a) Analytical and (b) Experimental. (a) Analytical In this case, certain mathematical models are made, and using certain mathematical laws which are approximately applicable to the body system, the performance is found ou' applying the proper boundary conditions..
