dc.description.abstract | Synthesis of carbon nanotubes can be done by various methods for example Are Discharge method,Laser Ablation method and Chemical Vapour Deposition Method. But in my dissertation I have synthesized carbon nanotubes with the help of Chemical Vapour Deposition Method or Catalysed Chemical Vapour Deposition method(CCVD),In this method Ferrocene and Benzene solution is sprayed inside the quartz tube which is kept inside the furnace treated with temperature between 850 degree to 900 degree centigrade. Here Argon gas is used as the carrier gas.ln my dissertation I have made three different samples given different treatments. In first sample (SI) I have made the solution of 3 grams ferrocene and 50 mL benzene and than Bated upto the temperature of 850 pgreeentigrade in the second sample (S2) the temperature is changed to 900 degree centigrade the solution remains the same and in the third sample (S3) I have made the solution of I gram ferrocene and 50 mL benzene and the temperature was about 900 degree centigrade.Than after the three different samples were characterized with the FESEM and X-ray diffractometery•ue to the different type of samples and the different types of treatment the results I got were different which I have discussed in my dissertation report. | en_US |
