Abstract: Simulation is defined as process of duplicating the essence of a system or activity without attaining reality itself. Simulation is not optimizing procedure but the performance of the system can easily be evaluated by use of simulation programme for the given set of design and operating policy parameters. The present study has been done primarily to simulate a combination of four reservoirs connected through diversion. The four reservoirs are Mohanpura (propo'sed reservoir) on River Newaj, Kundaliya (Proposed reservoir) on river Kalisind and Gandhisagar (Existing Reservoir) and Ranapratap Sagar (Existing Reservoir) on river Chambal. The proposal of water transfer from Mohanpura reservoir to Kundaliya reservoir and Kundaliya ~.;A reservoir to Gandhisagar Reservoir case 2 (a) and proposal of water transfer from Mohanpura reservoir to Kundaliya reservoir and Kundaliya reservoir to Ranapratap Sagar reservoir Case 2(b) were available. The same have been examined in terms of achievement of. project annual water targets, reservoir capacities of proposed reservoirs and additional irrigation and hydropower generation possibility from proposed and existing reservoirs..
