Title: GENERATION OF TYPE CURVES FOR PUMPING TEST DATA ANALYSIS
Authors: Memon, Allah Bux

Issue Date: 1992
Abstract: It is a permeable bed only partly filled with water and overlying a relatively impervious layer. Its upper boundary is formed by a free water table or Phreatio level under atmospheric pressure. Water in a well penetrating an unconfined aquifer does not, in general, rise above the Phreatic level, except when there is vertical flow. The water in an unconfined aquifer is called unconfined or phreatio water. In fine grained unconfined aquifers, gravity draining of pores is often not instantaneous consequently the water is released only some times after the lowering of the water level. Unconfined aquifers showing this phenomenon are called unconfined aquifers with delayed yield.
