The multipurposes reservoir is very commonly and useful for use and exploitation, of the water resourses in the world , specially in the tropical regions where the • precipitation and runoof vary in space and time greatly • In Vietnam a lot of reservoir in small and inidle size will be constructed . For this the design hydrology is very important , because of it effects on the designing of the reservoirs Many methods may be .applied to calculate the design hydrology for reservoir , it depends upon the hydrologic data available on the catchment In this study (i) The Unit Hydrograph Approach is applied for calculating the design hydrology of Camsori and Hailan - reservoirs , (ii) Thomas•-Fiering Model and AM , AIZ2 Models are also tried for generation of flows atthe dam sites Basing on the design hydrology data obtained from (i) and (ii) the Sequent peak method . and Tabu letr method of water balance are used for calculating the con se.rvatiort storage of the reservoirs : The flood control storages are also calculated by the Coefficient method and Puls method All of the calculations of these are mentioned in this ,study..en_US
