Issue Date: | 2006 |
Abstract: | Future is towards "ad hoc application development" = application on demand. The key enabling technologies to accomplish this are Service Composition (SC) and MANETs. Service composition refers to the technique of creating complex services with the help of smaller, simpler and easily executable services or components. Service may refer to any software component, data, or hardware resource on a device that is accessible by others. SC is more explored in wired and infrastructure based wireless networks. But it is very less explored in MANETs. In this thesis we explore the SC in MANETs and also propose two new strategies for composition and evaluate them |
