dc.description.abstract?or design of water resources project and Engineezr-ing structures it is necessary to estimate the design flood i.e., the flood magnitude of a particular frequency. The estimation of design flood is generally done by frequency analysis of av .lsble . historical data. Recently due to in--creased development Wtivities in tributary oatchients of river basins, need has been felt for development of suitable methodology for flood frequency analysis and development of regional relationship with limited data, generally available for such catchrents. In the present study, the available data of 25 years of Annual and Partial l flood series of river Pagladl ,a, a tributary of river Brahmeputrs has been analysed. The data of annual flood series of other nine neishbouring tributaries varying in length of 11 to 23 years bas also been used for development of regional relationship.en_US
