Abstract: Besides the overvoltage or undervoltage problem existing in the power system, the supply is never perfectly balanced. Since, the induction motors are widely used in industrial, commercial and residential systems; once the supply voltage is unbalanced the ill effects on induction motor will cause an enormous impact on the utilities, induction motor manufacturers and consumers. So, it becomes necessary to study the performance of a three-phase induction motor under unbalanced voltage conditions. Performance of induction motor -under different unbalanced voltage conditions can be analysed by doing load test, but to get such a large number of data for different unbalance conditions by this method will involve the wastage of a lot of energy and the process will be very much time consuming. Here, in this dissertation Monte Carlo method has been used for random number generation and further ANN model has been developed for the analysis of three phase induction motor performance with unbalanced voltage supply. All the programming/simulation work has been done in MATLAB. i
