Measurement of impedance of components is essential in many areas of electrical and electronics engineering. This work includes the measurement of unknown impedance by automatic AC bridges. Bridges tried by both iterative and non-iterative methods are dealt with in this work. In iterative method, bridge is balanced by least mean square adaptive algorithm, where as in non-iterative method, it is only needs to arbitrary change the one adjustable parameter two times including the setting of original values. The balance parameter can be computed using two formulas. Matlab simulation of the above bridges is presented in this work and real time implementation of the bridges are also made. An automatic AC Bridge using conjugate gradient method is also simulated using Matlab.en_US
