Abstract: This dissertation includes the modelling of systems and heat exchanger. It presents a comparative study of various adaptive control techniques in respect of self tuning property, which have .a high application potential in process industry. The system identification by recursive least square algorithm is carried out. For controller part the minimum variance strategy is applied. The given results on both assumed model and heat exchangerwe .given in the form of curves.
