This dissertation presentsATMS. 32010 in measurement a instrumentation. Digital signal processors are being us in numerous fields such as general purpose digital sign processing, telecommunications, voice/speech, graphic imaging,, control, instrumentation and military. Fo applications of digital signal processor in measurement a instrumentation have been implimented and reported in th dissertation. These applications are described in chapte 3, 4, 5, and 6. Chapter 2 gives a brief description of TMS 320 digital signal processor and its development card. chapter 3, simultaneous frequency and amplitude measureme of sinusoidal signals in real-time is decribed. In chapt 4, three types of waveforms are"generated using TMS 3201 Chapter 5 discusses. the implementation of low pass, hi pass, and band pass filters. In chapter 6, A-law and p-1 companding methods are developed, which are useful f telemetry.en_US
