Natural ventilation has the potential to significantly reduce the energy cost required for mechanical ventilation of buildings. Natural ventilation is a way to save the power and provide comfortable environment. In the present work, single sided and double sided rooms are taken and air flow distributions are analyzed. The room model is investigated by using the CFD research code ParalleiNS. The situation under buoyancy driven natural ventilation in a model room is investigated and compar ith experimental data. The main objective of the work is to investigate and to improve the evaluation of the air exchange efficiency in naturally ventilated rooms by using CFD-based method. Further, cross ventilation study is carried out for a room with two windows on opposite sided. Different cases are investigated for this model. Natural ventilation can be applied in field of industrial. plants, public buildings, school, and farm buildings. Recently, natural ventilation is being apply in hybrid ventilation.en_US
