Title: INELASTIC BEHAVIOUR OF REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES DURING EARTHQUAKE

Issue Date: 1973
Abstract: The inelastic behaviour of Reinforced Concrete Structures subjected to lateral loads is studied. The values of the strain ductility of the reinforcement and lateral deflection ductility of the portal frame are obtained. An attempt has been made to show the relationship between two ductiliti es . The response calculations in the post elastic range are made for two Accelerograms (Koyna and El Centro). The reduction in response due to in-elasticity of the structure is worked out for these two earthquakes and for different deflection ductilitles .
