Issue Date: 2003
Abstract: sloshing behavior of liquid as water in rectangular container with unsymmetric excitation is studied experimentally. Container with one and three compartments has been studied. Also containers with one and two horizontal baffles have been studied. The different depths of liquid have been considered. The excitation direction is taken with reference to the longitudinal axis at interval of 150 from 00 to 900. The overall force response for the open container is largest fora = 90'.. Compartmentalization of the container and introduction of baffles reduce the overall force response considerably.
