In this dissertation work the dimensions of the specimens were selected for the various testings and the shielding gas used was selected from the literature survey. Various welding trials were made for the selection of parameters. Flux cored wire GMAW was performed for the selected parameters. The specimens were machined out from the weldments conforming to the ASTM standards for testing purpose. Finally the tensile, fatigue, impact and hardness testing were performed. The results were obtained for welding speed, welding current and welding voltageen_US
