Abstract: The last few year have witnessed a considerable change in customer attitudes towards quality.of products nowadays The high quality of the product is a result of carefully controlling all stages in the development, production, repair and enhancement of product either manually or using computer based quality control techniques. Clearly as products and their production processes become more complex, the provision of adequate controls manually becomes increasingly difficult. For this reason, computers play an important role in quality control. Computer aided quality control is gaining momentum for the past few years, Researches carried out on this field so far have a good report that the products quality is increased and rejections reduced considerably An effective computer aided quality control system should be developed for data acquisition data conversion and control. In the present work, computer aided quality control is explained. So far no attempt has been made to develop a software covering all the aspects of quality control. In the present work,An attempt has been made to develop a software package for quality control which includes both control charts and sampling plans. Almost all the aspects of quality control are covered.
