Issue Date: 1991
Abstract: Hexagonal ferrites were prepared from their constituent raw materials and then mixed with rubber to form thin planar absorbent sheets. A technique for utilisation of these ferrites involving layering of the material parameters to achieve a good match of the incident waves was used. The Computer results are Substantiated by the measurements of the manufactured three layered metal backed absorber having a reflection loss > 7db over the X - Band 8 - 12 GHz within. a practically acceptable thickness.
