dc.description.abstract | Intro tioni-Eloctriesi methods of prospecting consists of measuring the electrical potentials and electrompgnetic fields over the Berth's surface together with interpretation of these in terms of subsurface structures and are deposits. They depend upon the effect -produced at the earth's surface of the distribution of electric current through the subsurface formation., As a matter' of fact the ele-etrical methods have become more diversified than any other geophysical methods due to a large variety of ways in which current sources can be disposed and measurements made. The utilization of these electrical methods depdnd upon the variations in electtical properties of rocks in adjoining formations.
