dc.description.abstractThe area under investigation lies partly in Jhansi District 1.P. and partly in Sagour district M.P. The areas bounded by. Long. (78° 53' 41" and 780 57' 26'4 ) and Lat. (240 16' 224 and 240 191 37" N) . It covers an area of about 50 Sq. kilometers. The area constitutes a part of the Survey of India Tope Sheet No. 54L/15. Baraitha Village (Long 78°86' and Lt 24° 17' 30") is 80 km South east of Lali t pur town. The other important villages. are (1rar (Long 78° 56' and tat 24° 18' 30") and Be rw ar 2 km. W . Sw of Gi r ar . The accessibility to the present are is difficult. The nearest Railway station is Lalitpur on Central Railway. Madaurs ( a small, town 19 'km NW of Barai.tha) is connected to La .itpur by a metalled road. A cart track connects araitha to Madaura. The area is also approached from Sagour M.P. via Banda which is 29 km south of Baraitha..en_US
