In this work a limited study on the machinability of the cemented carbides by E+l was undertaken. Effects of some basic parameters of a relaxation circuit were examined by machining several grades ci the carbides. The responses investigated during the experiments conducted are metal removal, tool wear and some aspects of the surface integrity. Using standard statisticali techniques, experimental work has been carefully planned and performed, followed by the analysis of the results obtained. some extremely useful conclusions in respect of the responses studied have been hence drawn. HcMever, an extenajon of this work is required for a deeper under-standing of the van dales and their effectsen_US
